Strata were invited to Dorchester Collection‘s Annual Luxury Retreat at their prestigious Coworth Park property in Ascot, of which they hosted their top 22 global planners from the UK and Europe.

The purpose of the retreat was to showcase the diverse options at Coworth Park for groups, incentives, meetings and events. From ultimate relaxation in the hotel’s spa and pool to using the hotel’s owned and managed Equestrian Centre for horse-riding, equine therapy lessons or general equine interaction and everything in between. Set in 244 acres of land, Coworth Park, a Dorchester Collection property, has 69 rooms, 4 event indoor spaces, countless outdoor event spaces and even boasts 2 International Polo fields, managed by Guards Polo. Private polo demonstrations can be arranged for clients, polo lessons can be offered for a group or polo matches can be watched from the hotel grounds with afternoon tea or simply with champagnes and Pimms…

Wellness is a big focus at Coworth Park and wellness walks, yoga and meditation are offered for clients and were showcased at the retreat. Numerous other activities can be arranged at Coworth Park from archery, laser-shooting, bike-riding and croquet to name but a few.

The culinary options at Coworth Park were also showcased through the team led by Adam Smith.  From his Michelin-starred restaurant, Woven, we were offered breakfast and lunch and within The Barn, we had a hosted dinner where each of the 10 Dorchester Collection properties was able to share a ‘behind the curtain secret’ from each of the hotels… from the reason why there are red geraniums adorning the front of The Plaza Athenee in Paris, to Elizabeth Taylor being in the bath in The Harlequin Suite at The Dorchester when she discovered she would play Cleopatra… every hotel has so many amazing stories.

Entertainment at the dinner was provided by The London Essentials and all photography was provided by Luxe Moments Photo + Film.

To make the retreat extra memorable, each attendee was gifted a Barbour jacket to represent the British connection between the Dorchester Collection and Barbour.  Pyjamas from Hotel Plaza Athenee and skincare from Valmont were also gifted from the Dorchester Collection hotels in Paris to make sure everyone had sweet dreams!

Dorchester Collection has 10 iconic addresses across London, Ascot, Paris, Rome, Milan, Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and now Dubai.  They are very excited to be opening a property in Tokyo in 2028 which will be their first hotel in Asia.
